Andy Ruiz Jr. has shocked the world again with a new mean, lean look in preparation for his December 7th rematch with Anthony Joshua in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia.
It’s not fair that the first-ever Mexican heavyweight champ has become as famous for his rotund physique as he was for pulling off arguably the biggest upset since Buster Douglas defeated “Iron” Mike Tyson.

Although the “The Destroyer” has been celebrating his win in grand fashion, it appears that he’s gotten in fighting shape for the highly-anticipated Ruiz-Joshua II. The not-so-heavy Ruiz showed off his slim, trim physique in a recent Instagram post that humble bragged his “hard work and dedication.”
“It will not be an easy fight. I think it will be a hard fight, but nothing is easy in life, so we are training very hard,” Ruiz, 30, told ESPN Deportes. “We will be prepared for whatever he bring. I will arrive in better condition… lighter, faster and more powerful.”
