The highly anticipated matchup between Maciej Sulecki (29-2, 11 KOs) and Jaime Munguia (36-0, 29 KOs) is cancelled yet again. Sulecki initially pulled out of the fight the first time, which was planned for April 24th, due to an elbow injury. Currently the reason for the second withdrawal is unknown and according to Sulecki’s promoter Andrzej Wasilewski, the bout, which was expected to take place in El Paso, TX on June 19th, is off without any immediate plans to reschedule.
The co-main event of the DAZN card highlights Philadelphia’s Gabe Rosado and Uzbekistan’s Bektemir Melikuziev so fans can still expect excitement from the June 19th card. Rosado is no stranger to action-packed fights and has been in many bloody, toe-to-toe wars that certainly do not lack in entertainment.
There is no update yet by Golden Boy Promotions on the event and whether there will be a replacement.
